CREATING A CAMPAIGN STYLE FOR WATTBIKE

Wattbike is the leading indoor bike used by professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts around the world. The Wattbike Atom is their consumer version of the original product, designed to be used at home with full integration with virtual riding software.

As the Head of Design for Wattbike, Rob created the campaign look and feel for a major Summer sales push of the Atom. On the face of it the design seemed to break all the brand guideline rules however on closer inspection the secondary colour red was pushed to the fore, the supporting typeface Work Sans became the headline text, and a vibrant blue, also from the brand colour palette, became the feature colour. As always the product took centre stage but it was given a new visual treatment for this particular campaign.

The result was a bold and brash set of adverts used primarily online that had considerable webpage standout. The campaign was incredibly successful and helped to generate record breaking sales for the company at the time.
