ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB GALA BALL

The Adelaide Football Club (AKA The Adelaide Crows) hold an annual charity ball at the end of the footy season – an event where items are auctioned for charity and the players, stakeholders and members come together for an evening packed with fun and entertainment.

As the senior designer, KYAK Director Rob produced an identity based on the theme of ‘A Right Royal Party’ with the design work applied to pre and post promotional activity and on the evening itself on items such as the auction booklet, staging and table presentation. In addition to this he created an overarching identity for the ball which could be reused each year to badge the event.

The result was a campaign logo that referenced the three elements the sailors operate in (wind, warmth and waves) an Eiffel tower shape and a small boat sitting neatly in the centre. This initial animation was used to launch the campaign on their social media in advance of the countdown to the games.

Overall the evening was a great success with a record amount raised for charity and much fun had by all.
