CASE STUDY – SAMSARA YOGA
BACKGROUND
Karen came to KYAK with the plan to set up her new Yoga business called Samsara, encouraging local people new to Yoga. She had some ideas for the direction she wanted to take and how she wanted to operate her business but had come unstuck when it came to creating a brand.
BRIEF
KYAK were tasked with translating her ideas into a contemporary logo and colour palette for use across a range of promotional items.
SOLUTION
We developed a logo based on the lotus flower, synonymous with wellness, represented in a contemporary way. The flower petals were created using the ‘S’ of Samsara paired with a suitable font, while the earth tone colours were chosen to represent a calm retreat. We summarised the work into a brand guideline document and provided Karen with all the file types she will need.
Following the initial brand work we developed a one page website plus a poster and postcard for Karen to promote her new studio in the local vicinity. Since launch she has had a considerable number of new students join her and is already looking to provide more sessions within just a matter of months.
